WELCOME TO THE HOUSE OF GREAT BLESSINGS!
We decided to do something different this year - to create a Lunar New Year 360 Video Card that embodies the essence of our everyday; heralding good tidings every step of the Production way!
WHAT’S THE BEAUTY OF A 360 VIDEO?
Video, in its conventional 16:9 format is already such a rich form of content, that even as you strip away layers of it, it’s still really valuable, making it easy for you to distribute your thoughts through multi-channels. We can probably deep dive into that in a separate post; but just imagine for now - 1 video with its content split into: EDMs, podcasts, shorter teasers for different social platforms etc etc.
The 360 Video is essentially all that.. but on steroids! It exponentially increases the visual vocabulary that is at our disposal, which means - amplified experiential fun!

For this Lunar New Year Greeting - with the 360 Video as the Hero piece, we created 2 other versions to cater to different needs.
The ‘Guided Tour’ : a separate 16:9 animated piece that would work for media platforms that are still unable to play 360 videos. This format will also help cater to the traditional folk that may prefer a guided tour of the facilities (aka just tell me where to look!!).
Animated Gifs : Fun, Short, Snackable Animated Loops of Happenings! In this instance, we have created one for each step of the production process… Can you tell which is which?
Beyond being creatively fulfilled, the team had a good time working on this little pet project. Likewise, we hope you have as much fun interacting with it as we had birthing it!
At the end of the day, that’s all that matters!
